'Dreams can come true' at US auction
July 30, 2010
Those looking for spectacular antique valuations might have noted news that an auction in the US will offer bidders the chance to enjoy a series of dream experiences.
Martha's Vineyard Community Services is set to host the 32nd annual Possible Dreams auction, as reported by the Martha's Vineyard Gazette.
The event will give people in attendance the opportunity to bid for a dinner date in New York with former undercover CIA operative Valerie Plame and her husband Joe Wilson.
This is being offered by director Doug Liman and bidders may jump at the chance to meet a real life spy.
In addition, some of the other experiences up for grabs include the opportunity to watch a Red Sox baseball game in a suite alongside Alan Dershowitz.
Elsewhere, collectors may recently have noted that a sheepdog was recently bought in Yorkshire for £4,305 - a record price for such an animal.
